A Chistmas Invitation

I believe Winter has officially arrived. They are calling for high's this week in the 20's with lows in the single digits. Factor in the wind chill and it is below zero. And... there is now snow on the ground.

New Christmas lights are appearing everyday. My children have been out putting lights along the fence. Christmas music is now playing on the radio. Christmas is in the air.

As I listen to the music, look at the lights, and bring out my own Christmas decorations... memories of Christmas past come flooding over me. There are so many sights, sounds, smells, and scenes that trigger such things.

As I began to think of my own favorite Christmas memories, I thought, how very nice it would be to hear yours as well. Then I thought... why not?

So, spread the word. Everyone is invited. On Thursday, December 7 let's slow down, take a moment and congregate in "My Quiet Corner". Come and share your favorite Christmas memory. I will put up "Mr. Linky" so we can all be sure to "hear" and share each other's memories.

Be ready to pull up a chair and grab a warm throw. There will be a fire burning, warm drinks ready, snacks to munch on, Christmas music in the background, and warm hearts of friends sharing a quiet moment of Christmas together in "My Quiet Corner".

I love this! (Of course, it may be 80 degrees here in Texas, but if it is, then I'll pretend it's cold, anyway!)

Oh, my goodness, can I come and visit?? I am so jealous that you all get snow!! We count ourselves blessed to have a day of snow (1 in. if we are lucky) here in the south. I often dream of waking up and sipping my coffee while looking out my window to a blanket of white. How cozy!! Enjoy it for me!!!

I'll try to think of a memory, but to be quite honest the whole Mr. Linky thing kind of intimidates me - never experimented with it. I may give it a try. . .
